VISION	GLENN COUNTY GENERAL PLAN 2007 - 2027
	Affordable Housing Affordable housing is still the norm in Glenn County. There is great diversity of housing styles to meet the varied needs of the population. This diversity achieves the balance between compact, serviceable communities and maintaining the rural and small town character of the County. More comprehensively planned developments with a mixture of uses occur as the scale of development enlarges. Housing is clustered to preserve agricultural land. Low and moderate income housing needs are met utilizing a variety of new programs. People are able to find high-quality, affordable housing in reasonably close proximity to their workplaces. Day care and other similar necessities of modern life are planned for in conjunction with new housing developments.
