How You Can Get Involved

As the General Plan Update Advisory Work Group develops the new general plan there will be several opportunities to get involved with the process.

First, your viewing this website and comments on documents as they are posted will assist us in reflecting the issues of the residents of Glenn County.

Second, you are welcome to attend any of the Work Group’s meetings. The agendas are posted on the Document Library page and below.

Third, there will be an opportunity in the Fall of 2007 to request review of the land use designation proposed for your property. The application for will be posted on the Document Library page.

Fourth, there will be a series of pubic notices and public hearings before the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors before the updated general plan is adopted in 2008. You can monitor the process by checking the Document Library page for meeting dates.
